UN International Day of Cooperatives at the UN HQ
This high-level hybrid event will mark the 2025 International Day of Cooperatives, showcasing how co-operatives contribute to sustainable development, economic inclusion and decent work – aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the upcoming Second World Summit for Social Development.
Event Highlights:
- Opening remarks by UN and government representatives from Kenya, Mongolia, and NYC
- Presentation by the United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) and the United in Sustainability Network
- Panel discussion on New York City’s cooperative development initiatives and global lessons
- Multi-stakeholder engagement with opportunities for learning and dialogue
