Maple Maple Street Co-op IYC 2025 and mural launch
Maple Street Co-op is pleased to partner with Munimba-ja Arts Centre to celebrate the launch of its splendid new mural – and also the beginning of International Year of Cooperatives. This year’s theme is Co–operatives Build a Better World.
The event; will include:
- a welcome to Co-op members from our Board and our partner hosts
- well-known local, Dinnawhan (Aunty Pam) will yarn about bush foods/medicines
- an artist yarn about the mural with Co-op member participation, adding ‘seeds’ to the mural using paint
- shouting out loud about Co-ops and how they build a better world!
- afternoon tea of damper, various condiments and lemon myrtle ice tea (grown in the garden)
Limited to 60 people so book now!
Bring water bottle and hat/ sun umbrella. And your mug and plate for snack time
- The garden is fairly accessible – there will be some uneven ground and steps
- We will start the ceremony at 2 pm sharp
- Toilets are available at the Community Centre

Directions
As you enter Maleny from the Landsborough direction, pass the school on your right, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout, up Maple Street to the second pedestrian crossing. Park near there, or in Bicentennial Lane into the Riverside Shopping Centre.
