What happens when community, purpose and co-operation come together?
Join us this International Day of Co-operatives for a thought-provoking panel exploring the vital role co-ops play in building stronger, more resilient regional communities.
Presented by the Dungog Wholefood Co-op in partnership with The Mutual Bank, this event brings together leaders who have each championed the co-operative model in their own way – from food to finance to farming.
Guest Speakers
- Mark Williams – CEO, The Mutual Bank
- Leigh Bowden – Chair , The Coota District Co-op
- Jimmy and Anna Crane – Led the co-founding of the Dungog Wholefood Co-op
Together, they’ll discuss:
- Why they started their co-operatives – and what they’ve learned
- The unique challenges and opportunities of serving regional communities
- How co-ops can be part of a stronger, more sustainable future
Whether you’re already part of a co-op or simply curious, this is a chance to learn, connect and be inspired.
